Four steps, no runaround.
One person quotes it, does it and stands behind it. Here is exactly what happens from the first text to the invoice.
- 01
Call or text
Tell Dan what is going on. A photo of the problem is the single fastest thing you can do — it turns a guess into a real number, usually the same day.
Send the whole list if you have one. Small jobs are not a nuisance; a list of them in one visit is the cheapest way to use a craftsman, and it is usually why people call in the first place.
- 02
Free quote
Quotes are free and given upfront. Dan prices the job in front of him, not an hourly guess, so you know the number before anything starts.
If something can be repaired rather than replaced, he will say so — that is normally the cheaper answer and it is the one you get. If a job needs a licensed trade, he will tell you that too rather than take it on.
- 03
The work
He turns up when he said he would, works clean, and the space is tidier when he leaves than when he arrived.
If something is found along the way that changes the scope — rot behind a board, a leak behind the drywall — the work stops and it is re-quoted before it is carried out. Nothing gets added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.
- 04
Paid simply
Payment is due on receipt of the invoice, by Venmo, Zelle or bank transfer. The invoice has one-tap links for each.
No deposits on ordinary jobs, no card machine, no chasing. Bigger jobs with a real material cost are the exception, and that is agreed in the quote rather than sprung on you afterwards.
If something isn't right, tell Dan within 30 days and he comes back and fixes it at no charge. He doesn't consider a job done until you're happy.
Common questions
How fast can Dan look at a job?
Usually the same day for a quote by text, and within a day or two on site across South Orange County. He is based in San Clemente, so the closer you are to it, the faster that tends to be.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and given upfront, and Dan prices the job rather than guessing at hours.
What if something is not right after the job?
The Make-It-Right Guarantee: If something isn't right, tell Dan within 30 days and he comes back and fixes it at no charge. He doesn't consider a job done until you're happy.
Hours: By appointment. Call or text. The fastest way to reach Dan is a text to (949) 355-6508.
