These terms cover the use of danshandyman.com and set expectations for work performed by Dan's Handyman.

The site

Content here is provided for information. Service descriptions are general; the work actually performed is whatever is agreed in your specific quote.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are free and given before work starts. A quote covers the scope described in it. If the scope changes once work is underway — hidden damage, added rooms, a different material — the change is discussed and re-priced before it is carried out. No work gets added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.

Payment

Payment is due on receipt of the invoice, by Venmo, Zelle or bank transfer. Invoice numbers should be included in the payment note.

The guarantee

If it isn't right, Dan makes it right. If something about completed work is not right, tell Dan and he will come back and correct it.

Scope of services

Dan's Handymanperforms handyman, maintenance and repair work. It does not hold a contractor's licence and does not perform work requiring one. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim to any licence, certification or insurance coverage.

Scheduling

Work is by appointment. Weather, access and material availability can move a date; you will be told as early as possible if that happens.
